Couples Silence Retreat… the solution to all your problems!
Having problems with your friend, family member, colleague, or partner? Then this couples’ silence retreat is exactly what you need! Right? In a mix of improvisational theatre and LARP, we follow a group full of problems and secrets. That’s bound to go well!
Do you enjoy mixing improvisational theatre (with an audience) and LARP (without an audience)? Do you like playing scenes in many different formats? Then this is for you. If you want to stay continuously in character for several hours, this is not your thing.
This scenario is divided into scenes, with the runner indicating each time which restrictions apply (e.g. speaking or not speaking, with or without an audience). The players, of course, create the story.
Physical contact: Ranges from none to moderate; participants decide for themselves how they want to play out relationships.
Intimacy: Players determine the type of relationship themselves (this can also be familial, etc.), and thus the level of intimacy.
Conflict: Determined by the players, but others may shout.
Triggers: Dramatic relational play between other players; performing in front of an audience.
Special notes for this scenario:
Suitable for players who have never played a short larp before
No costume requirements
Seated or lying down; walking; dancing
About the runner:
Anne uses elements of larp in Live Action Learning training sessions for clients. In her free time, she designs improv classes and short larps using all the ideas that are cool but not suitable for client work.
